Curragh (IRE) : Emily Dickinson avec brio

Après son échec dans la Gold Cup d’Ascot (Gr.1), où elle se classait quatrième, Emily Dickinson (Galileo) devait disputer la Goodwood Cup (Gr.1), mais les récentes pluies sur l’Irlande ont incité Aidan O’Brien à tenter sa chance dans la Curragh Cup (Gr.2). Spécialiste de ces terrains assouplis, Emily Dickinson a fait preuve d’une nette supériorité dans la phase finale pour s’imposer de trois longueurs devant Rosscarbery (Sea The Stars) qui devance nettement la 3 ans Amusement (Galileo). Emily Dickinson va maintenant tenter de remporter, dans une dizaine de jours, un premier Gr.1 dans la Goodwood Cup (Gr.1). Emily Dickinson est une fille de la française Chicquita (Montjeu), qui s’est imposée dans les Irish Oaks (Gr.1).
