Après avoir patienté derrière les chevaux de tête, l'élève et représentant de l'écurie Gribomont et de l'écurie du Sud a dû s'employer dans la phase finale pour venir à bout d'un tenace Uther (Camelot), qui s'est finalement incliné d'une tête.

Aidan's Phone est le 1er gagnant black type en plat de son père, Prince Gibraltar (Rock Of Gibraltar), qui fait la monte au haras de Cercy. C'est un petit-fils de Selana (Lomitas), placée de Listed outre-Rhin et mère de 2 gagnants black types en Allemagne dont Salona (Lord of England), lauréate du Preis Des Ferienland Tirol (Gr.3) à 2 ans.
