BALKO, étalon au Haras du Lion en 2015

Encore jeune et déjà très confirmé, Balko apporte son modèle mais aussi de la précocité sur les obstacles. Père de Michto, Fago, gagnant de Gr.3 et placé de Gr.1 à Auteuil, il a sorti 2 gagnants de black-type (Gitane du Berlais et Walk Sibo) pendant l'hiver 2013/2014. Soigné après la saison de monte 2013, il a ponctué sa saison 2014 avec 84 juments saillies et un taux de fertilité de pus de 80%. De nouveau très en vue pendant l'hiver 2014/2015, avec Djeville et Stomy Mood, à Auteuil, Gillo à Pau, etc...

Precocious and famous at Auteuil, Balko won 4 races at 3 including Prix Georges de Talhouet Roy and Congress, before succeeding in the Prix Duc d'Anjou at 4 on the chase. His first crop born in 2008, already produced a classic winner at Auteuil: Michto, 2nd in the Congress at 3 and laureate of the Périchole at 4. Since, Balko produces winners all around Europe, and at top level during the 2013-2014 winter with Gitane du Berlais, Gr.3 winner in Ireland, Walk Sibo, successful in a Listed contest at Cagnes/Mer, and the young anglo-arabian star Aurko at Pau.

Balko, gives is imposing to his foals (16.2hh) and his precocity over jumps. He was born to be a NH horse. By Pistolet Bleu, his grand dam Royal Charter is a sister to Piraya, winner of Prix Edmond Barrachin, cousin to Oculi,dual Gr.1 laureate at 4. Group winner himself at Auteuiland sire of group winners in Europe, Balko stands at a fee of €3500 for 2014 at Haras du Lion.
