Rome : Premio Parioli pour un ex anglais

S'il a perdu de son prestige et de son grade, le Premio Parioli (Gr.3) reste l'équivalent des 2000 Guinées en Italie, sur l'hippodrome de Capanelle à Rome. Fraichement arrivé d'Angleterre où il avait gagné 3 handicaps à niveau modeste, Fayathaan s'impose courageusement sous la selle d'Alberta Sanna et de peu face au gros outsider Cirano. Il fait encore briller la 1e production exceptionnelle du jeune étalon irlandais Mehmas. Tally Ho Stud, qui abrite Mehmas, est d'ailleurs co-éleveur de Fayathaan .
