Invaincu avec Christophe Soumillon, excepté dans les Guinées, Perfect Power (Ardad) remporte la Commonwealth Cup, Gr.1, qui s’adresse aux sprinters de 3 ans. Donné favori de l’épreuve, le représentant de Richard Fahey n’a pas trahi ses supporters et a fait preuve d’une incroyable puissance face à tant d’adversaires à ses trousses. Il termine devant Flaming Rib (Ribchester) qui crée la surprise et Flotus (Starspangledbanner), 2e des Cheveley Park Stakes Gr.1. Nous pouvons crier cocoriko avec Miramar (Profitable) qui termine 5e sous la selle de Ronan Thomas, pour l’entraînement de Carlos et Yann Lerner derrière Cadamosto (No Nay Never), le farceur de Ballydoyle. Perfect Power a été élevé par Tally Ho Stud.
