Strasbourg : Vidalgo débloque son compteur
Classe 3 sur les 2000 mètres strasbourgeois, deux candidatures se détachaient dans le Prix du Président Raymond Steidel avec Wonder Of You (Showcasing) et Siyouchka (Siyouni). Il fallait noter que deux pouliches restaient également sur un succès tout comme Sendmeastar (Cloth Of Stars) et Sigrune (Outstrip). Malheureusement Wonder of You réalise un écart dans la ligne d’en face et fait chuter son infortuné jockey Léo Roussel. Dans le tournant final, l’outsider Vidalgo (Brametot) se rapproche avec d’évidentes ressources et répond aux sollicitations d’Hugo Besnier pour se mettre hors de portée de Payrus Road (Morandi) qui termine bien en retrait. Sous la responsabilité de Stephan Richter, Vidalgo ouvre son palmarès avec une certaine autorité lors de sa cinquième sortie publique. Photo Vincent Munsch
