Deauville : Rouhiya sur une pointe

Troisième en débutant à Saint-Cloud le mois dernier, Rouhiya (Lope de Vega) a confirmé en ouvrant plaisamment son palmarès dans le Prix La Bamba (Maiden). Attentiste à l'arrière-garde, l'élève et représentante de Son Altesse Aga Khan a progressé en dehors dans la phase finale et a déposé ses rivales sur une pointe, ralliant le poteau avec 2 longueurs et demie d'avance sur Tazara (Blue Point). Rouhiya est une fille de Lope de Vega (Shamardal), étalon de Ballylinch Stud. Sa mère, Rondonia (Raven's Pass), a terminé 3e du Grand Prix de Fontainebleau (L.). Photo APRH.
