York (Gr.2) : Cool Hoof Luke tient son Groupe

AL BASTI EQUIWORLD DUBAI GIMCRACK STAKES (GR.2). Troisième des Vintage Stakes (Gr.2) à Goodwood le mois dernier, Cool Hoof Luke (Advertise) a décroché sa 1ère victoire black type dans les Gimcrack Stakes, la 4e sortie de sa carrière. Après avoir attendu à l'arrière-garde, le pensionnaire d'Andrew Balding a très bien fini au centre du peloton pour rallier le poteau avec 3/4 de longueur d'avance sur Shadow Of Light (Lope de Vega), qui a perdu son invincibilité pour sa 3e tentative.

Cool Hoof Luke a été élevé outre-Manche par Tony Nerses. C'est un fils d'Advertise (Showcasing), qui fait la monte à Manton Park en Angleterre, et de Dutch Monument (Dutch Art), non placée lors de son unique sortie à 2 ans. Dutch Monument est la soeur de 3 black types incluant Lokaloka (Pursuit Of Love), lauréate du Premio Regina Elena (Gr.3), et Lohit (Dutch Art), vainqueur du Premio Omenoni (Gr.3).
