Meeting with Arti Doctor, lady horse trainer in India

A woman on a par with men. A rare distinction in India, a country firmly rooted to ancient traditions where the fair sex is on the weaker side. And yet, a tough little woman, Arti Doctor, reached the top in the equine industry despite not being from a horsy family. Now based at Kolkata with 45 horses following her debuts at Mumbai, she accumulated all trophies at the 2013 Invitational Cup. Arti Doctor had a dream classic week end. She scored a double on the Saturday. On the Sunday, she finished 3rd with her first runner of the day but wins again with her last competitor Wild Card in the big contest the "In The Spotlight Cup".
