Chantilly : Gunma trouve son jour

Véritable métronome, le protégé d'Hiro Shimizu, Gunma (Literato), trouve enfin son jour pour sa 13e tentative dans le Prix du Poteau Bertinval, maiden pour 3 ans. Tout de suite bien placé, il prend un avantage décisif à 200 m du but, et s'impose sûrement associé à Bertrand Flandrin. Le favori Spargi Island (Footstepinthesand) termine plaisamment pour dominer de peu Lucky Kentucky (Dabirsim) pour la seconde place. Elevé par Madame Guy de Chatelperron, Gunma est issu de Griotte (Excelebration), une soeur inédite de Light in Paris (Aussie Rules) qui s'était classée troisième du Prix La Sorellina (L), et du Critérium du Fond Européen de l'Elevage (L).
